What does $290 look like?
A few weeks ago, Pastor Sid asked each family who made a three-year commitment to the Kingdom Initiative to try to fulfill their commitment by the end of 2010. He also challenged each family to give $290 to each of four special offerings. The first one is set for Sun., Oct. 31. The other three are scheduled in 2011. The goal of these offerings, and one of the top priorities of the Kingdom Initiative, is to pay off our children's building.So what does $290 look like? Think of it this way ... if each family would give up one meal out a week from now until Sun., Oct. 31, they could potentially save $290. Seems simple enough, right? Please pray about your role in meeting this challenge.
