The next school year is quickly coming up and we want to celebrate! Beginning July 31st at 5:30pm we will be partnering with some other youth groups to have a worship night at Christ Church Columbia. Less than a week later we'll have cool off for our last pool party of the season at 6pm on Thursday August 6th. Lastly, just a few days later, we will come together for our back to school bash in our outside picnic area on Sunday August 9th at 6pm. We will be playing slip n slide kickball, eating a good meal, and having Kona Ice. Invite a friend and we look forward to seeing you there!

We have rescheduled our kayak trip for the end of this month! It'll be on Saturday August 29th and we'll be leaving the church parking lot at 8:30am. If you want to meet us over at Higher Pursuits at 9:00am, you are welcome to do that as well. The cost will be $20 a person that'll get you a kayak and paddles. If you want to eat on the water, you'll have to bring your own food. Please bring a water bottle and sunscreen! It also may not be a bad idea to bring a towel if you feel like you may get wet. We are looking forward to floating with you!

There are several opportunities to serve within First Students! If you feel led to use the giftings that the Lord has given you, feel free to sign up and reach out to Pastor Brian. We do have a training day for these positions coming up on August 30th at 4:00pm in the gym.

Feel like God is leading you towards a mission trip but the cost of it can be intimidating? We got you covered! Every Sunday after small groups, you have the opportunity to serve coffee for mission's money to help the cost of a trip you may be looking at. Every dollar given goes towards student missions. Students in grades 7-12 have the opportunity to get connected with other students and engage in discipleship activities through these weekly activities:
*All of these meet in our Student Activities Center (gym)

• The Vine - Wednesday Nights at 6pm
• Small Groups - Sundays at 9:30am
• Bible Study - Sunday Nights at 6pm
